英国演员杰克休斯顿主演的电影《宾汉》上周五在美国上映，讲述罗马帝国高压统治下的以色列，两名儿时好友兼义兄弟反目成仇，但是最后学会原谅、宽恕彼此。他表示现在的世界其实仍然一样，人类并没有进步太多。

《宾汉》改编自美国作家华勒斯1880年的小说《宾汉：基督的故事》，该书曾在1925年与1959年被拍成电影。其中1959年的版本由美国演员却尔登希斯顿担纲主角、威廉惠勒导演，当时拿下美国电影艺术与科学学院11项奥斯卡奖，包括最佳电影、最佳导演、最佳男主角、最佳男配角。
